School Improvement Plan Goals

Goal 1 - Student Achievement - MATH: By June 2014, the number of students in the intermediate and junior level meeting or exceeding performance expectations in Mathematics will increase by at least 10%. Two indicators of success will be: Grade 6 Provincial Math Assessments and School Report Card (students achieving an A or B) Goal 3 Student Achievement - Language: By June 2014, the number of students in the kindergarten and primary level meeting or exceeding performance expectations in Language will increase by at least 10%. Two indicators of success will be: Grade 3 Provincial Language Assessments and School Report Card (students achieving an A or B) Goal 2 - School Performance - Safe & Caring Environment: By June 2014, 80% of students will report that General Lake Public School provides a safe, healthy, and positive learning environment as reflected in questions generated from the Tell Them From Me Online Survey and and behaviour tracking records.
